UHSM World Record Attempt

Remote Audio Visual were recently approached to provide that ‘Something Special’ for a World Record breaking attempt at Wythenshawe Hospital.

Almost 1,000 people took part in a mass hand washing lesson at the Manchester hospital – in a bid to stop the spread of swine flu.

Staff at Wythenshawe Hospital have written a version of the Black Lace song Superman – called Superhands to teach people the perfect hand-washing technique.

Nurses, doctors and patients from the hospital tried to set a world record for the largest group of people to wash their hands at once.

They invited along local nursery pupils, cafeteria staff, firefighters, police and builders to the hospital car park to join in.

It was then entrusted to Remote Audio Visual to provide adequate staging, Public announcement, and a large outdoor screen able to cater for the 600 strong crowd in the car park.

Lite-deck Staging was used as this provided a safe, all weather stage for the performers to demonstrate, whilst a powerful four speaker PA comfortably distributed enough sound for the audience to enjoy the performance, (without disturbing the hospital patients of course!) whilst following the dance routine which we showed on a large 14 foot LED Outdoor Screen.

Remote AV will always deliver the best possible solutions to meet your requirements.
